Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Managing complex conflicts checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires across multiple offices and jurisdictions.
Reviewing and interpreting conflict reports, identifying potential legal, commercial, and reputational risks, and assisting in the resolution process.
Carrying out client due diligence and AML checks in line with the firm’s policies and regulatory obligations.
Acting as a senior point of contact for fee earners and internal stakeholders in relation to conflicts, AML, and business acceptance queries.
Escalating high-risk or sensitive issues where appropriate and assisting with the provision of commercially focused guidance and recommendations.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team, assisting with technical queries and day-to-day guidance.
Assisting with process improvement initiatives, policy implementation, and wider risk and compliance projects where required.

The successful candidate will have previous business acceptance, conflicts, or AML experience gained within a law firm environment, with the confidence to manage complex matters independently.
