What This Role Involves

  • Reviewing new client and matter requests for potential conflicts of interest
  • Conducting detailed searches using conflicts databases and client management systems
  • Analysing ownership structures, client hierarchies, and related parties
  • Preparing conflict reports and recommending resolutions or waivers
  • Liaising with partners, fee-earners, and General Counsel on conflict clearance
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date conflict records
  • Supporting firm-wide training and continuous process improvement

Required Experience & Skills

Strong analytical and research capabilities
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Ability to interpret and apply SRA and Bar Standards guidance
Discretion when handling confidential information
Confident stakeholder management skills

Typical Salary Range

£33,000 – £60,000
depending on PQE and firm tier.

Assistant / Junior Analyst £28,000–£32,000
Analyst / Senior Analyst £33,000–£50,000
Manager / Senior Manager £55,000–£90,000
Head of Risk / Director £115,000–£175,000+

in London and US firms.

Assistant / Junior Analyst £34,000–£45,000
Analyst / Senior Analyst £45,000–£70,000
Manager / Senior Manager £75,000–£120,000
Head of Risk / Director £130,000–£205,000+
