An international law firm is looking for a Privacy Manager to join its Team in London.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a privacy role, who is comfortable working closely with stakeholders across the firm to embed data protection compliance in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities for the Privacy Manager role:
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day data protection and privacy queries from across the firm
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the firm’s global privacy programme
- Assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments
- Support incident and data breach management, including investigations and regulatory reporting where required
- Review and advise on privacy aspects of contracts, supplier agreements, and client engagements
- Help develop and deliver privacy training and awareness initiatives across the firm
- Monitor regulatory developments and support the updating of policies, procedures, and guidance
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an operational privacy or data protection role
- Experience handling privacy queries, DPIAs, and data incidents in a business environment
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including legal and non-legal teams
