Keys Responsibilities for the Conflicts Clearance Analyst role:

• Conduct conflict of interest searches for new clients and matters using the firm’s conflicts database.
• Analyse search results to identify potential legal and commercial conflicts of interest.
• Assist with the clearance and resolution of conflicts in accordance with the firm’s policies and professional conduct rules.
• Liaise with attorneys and other internal stakeholders to obtain information required for accurate conflict analysis.
• Escalate complex conflicts issues to senior members of the Risk & Compliance team where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of conflicts searches, resolutions, and approvals.
• Support the wider new business intake process, including reviewing matter details and client information.
• Assist with the maintenance and updating of client and matter data within the firm’s systems.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements to conflicts processes and procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in conflicts or new business intake within a law firm environment.
• Strong understanding of conflicts of interest principles and legal ethics.
• Experience using conflicts or intake systems such as imanage or similar platforms is advantageous.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
