This is a key role within the firm’s General Counsel Office, where you will be at the heart of the firm’s governance and corporate strategy. The General Counsel Office plays an essential role in driving the firm’s strategic goals, ensuring that the firm’s operations align with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
As an in-house lawyer, you will advise across a broad range of legal areas, including corporate law, governance, regulatory compliance, and strategy. Working closely with the Global Head of Legal and senior management teams, you will help ensure that the firm’s structure supports its objectives and that all initiatives are legally sound and strategically aligned.

Key Responsibilities of the In-House Lawyer:
- Provide strategic legal advice on the firm’s corporate structure and governance, ensuring that it evolves in line with future business plans. This will include close collaboration with departments such as Finance and Tax to manage structural and organisational changes.
- Lead the legal and company secretarial support for firmwide corporate activities, including mergers, establishing new offices, and documenting partnerships with association law firms in various jurisdictions.
- Review, update, and draft legal documents and constitutional agreements to ensure the firm’s organisational structures remain fit for purpose and aligned with commercial objectives.
- Assist the Global Head of Legal with corporate transactions that support the firm’s strategy, including the preparation and review of legal documents required for these initiatives.
- Manage the relationship with external counsel in jurisdictions where the firm operates, ensuring compliance with local regulations and managing legal spend effectively.
Required Skills & Experience of the In-house Lawyer:
- Legally qualified with at least 2 years PQE, with a background in corporate law and company secretarial practice, ideally gained within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, legal structures, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to draft and negotiate complex corporate documents.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
