Conflicts Analyst
An international law firm is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join its London-based team.
This role is integral to the firm’s global New Business & Risk Management function, ensuring seamless client onboarding and risk management in compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and analyse conflict checks for new clients and matters across the firm’s global network.
- Identify and address broader risks, including reputational, sanctions, financial crime, and commercial conflicts.
- Provide expert guidance to partners and lawyers on conflict check results and information barrier management.
- Work closely with Financial Crime and other risk teams to ensure comprehensive risk assessments.
- Maintain strong working relationships with conflicts teams in other jurisdictions to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of conflicts and information barrier management systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- A law degree or LPC qualification.
- Experience in conflicts, risk management, or compliance within a legal environment.
- Strong understanding of legal and professional conflicts of interest rules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
