Conflicts Analyst

An international law firm is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join its London-based team.

This role is integral to the firm’s global New Business & Risk Management function, ensuring seamless client onboarding and risk management in compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and analyse conflict checks for new clients and matters across the firm’s global network.
  • Identify and address broader risks, including reputational, sanctions, financial crime, and commercial conflicts.
  • Provide expert guidance to partners and lawyers on conflict check results and information barrier management.
  • Work closely with Financial Crime and other risk teams to ensure comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with conflicts teams in other jurisdictions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of conflicts and information barrier management systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A law degree or LPC qualification.
  • Experience in conflicts, risk management, or compliance within a legal environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal and professional conflicts of interest rules.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
