An international law firm is looking for a Business Acceptance Manager to join their team in their London office.
The Business Acceptance Manager role involves addressing complex conflicts, financial crime issues, and reputational risks while managing partner and team expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong background in conflicts of interest and financial crime regulations and experience in managing a team at an international law firm.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Acceptance Manager role:
- Oversee the day-to-day management, performance, and development of the EMEA Business Acceptance Team.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Business Acceptance to drive global strategies and align with firm growth plans.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for business acceptance queries, including complex conflicts and financial crime matters.
· Develop and refine policies, frameworks, procedures, and systems to enhance team efficiency and clarity.
· Manage workflows across jurisdictions, evaluating and implementing performance improvements.
- Handle reputational risk and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with Risk, the Office of the General Counsel, and other global teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure team well-being and act as a role model for colleagues globally.
Qualifications:
- Substantial experience in a Business Acceptance, Risk, or similar function at an international law firm.
- Strong expertise in international conflicts of interest and financial crime regulations.
- Proven experience handling reputational risk and complex commercial issues.
- Experience managing a team at an international law firm (preferably a team located across multiple jurisdictions)
