A leading international law firm is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team in New York.
The ideal candidate for the role will have conflicts experience within a law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Conflicts Analyst:
- Conduct comprehensive conflicts checks for prospective and existing clients, matters, and engagements in accordance with firm policies.
- Review and analyse partner, associate, and client relationships to identify potential conflicts of interest.
- Provide guidance and support to attorneys and staff on conflicts-related issues.
- Assist with training and onboarding for new hires on conflicts procedures and compliance expectations.
- Collaborate closely with Risk & Compliance, Legal, and Practice Group teams to resolve complex conflicts situations.
Requirements:
- Experience in conflicts, ideally within a law firm environment.
- Strong understanding of US legal practice management and conflicts compliance procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with conflicts databases and matter management systems is highly desirable.
