A leading international law firm is looking for a Conflicts Clearance Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team based in New York with 3 days in office.
This Conflicts Clearance Analyst role is responsible for supporting the firm’s new business intake process by conducting comprehensive conflicts checks and assisting with the resolution of potential legal and commercial conflicts.
Keys Responsibilities for the Conflicts Clearance Analyst role:

Conduct conflict of interest searches for new clients and matters using the firm’s conflicts database.

Analyse search results to identify potential legal and commercial conflicts of interest.

Assist with the clearance and resolution of conflicts in accordance with the firm’s policies and professional conduct rules.

Liaise with attorneys and other internal stakeholders to obtain information required for accurate conflict analysis.

Escalate complex conflicts issues to senior members of the Risk & Compliance team where appropriate.

Maintain accurate records of conflicts searches, resolutions, and approvals.

Support the wider new business intake process, including reviewing matter details and client information.

Assist with the maintenance and updating of client and matter data within the firm’s systems.

Contribute to ongoing improvements to conflicts processes and procedures.
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in conflicts or new business intake within a law firm environment.

Strong understanding of conflicts of interest principles and legal ethics.

Experience using conflicts or intake systems such as imanage or similar platforms is advantageous.

High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
