A leading international law firm is looking for an Insurance Lawyer to join their London team. 

The role of the Insurance Lawyer will have a main focus of Professional Indemnity whilst also being involved in the broader risk management responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities for the Insurance Lawyer role:

• Advise on professional indemnity insurance matters, including policy coverage, claims management, and liaising with brokers and insurers.
• Assisting in the protection of the firm by procuring relevant insurance protection in various areas and liaising with brokers and insurers in that regard
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards related to PI exposure.
• Provide risk management guidance and training to partners and staff to minimise exposure to professional liability claims.
• Assist in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and policies for the firm.
• Provide advice on regulatory compliance matters, including SRA regulations, conflicts of interest, and financial crime risks.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the firm’s risk exposure and recommend appropriate responses.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified lawyer (England & Wales) with at least 3 years’ PQE, in a law firm environment
• Strong knowledge of professional indemnity law, insurance policies, and claims management.
• Ability to assess and mitigate legal and regulatory risks effectively.
